Kesleigh Dougherty is a freelance editor currently splitting her time between Nashville, Los Angeles, and, most recently, Dallas. With her vast skill set and professional experience, Dougherty has established herself as a sought-after lead assistant editor and editor in the entertainment industry.

Prior to her freelance work for Cashmere Agency and Rebel AV, she served as an editor at Ammo Creative, where she contributed to various digital advertising campaigns that garnered critical acclaim. Some of her latest credits include Strays from Universal Studios, Avatar: The Way of Water for Disney, Warrior for HBO Max, Prey on Hulu, Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney, The Woman King from Sony, The King’s Man by 20th Century Studios, Barbie: It Takes Two on Netflix and The Beatles: Get Back for Disney.

Dougherty was also recently the editor of the short film Sugar, and played a key role in its production at Buttons Studios. Sugar has been selected for Dances With Films NYC 2023. These notable projects showcase Dougherty's ability to bring stories to life through her meticulous editing and sound design techniques.

In 2014, she received a B.F.A. in Film Editing and Sound Design from the esteemed School of Filmmaking at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, solidifying her foundation in the craft. With her creativity, attention to detail, and commitment to producing exceptional work, Dougherty continues to make an indelible mark in the world of social media, film and advertisement editing.

Dougherty lives in Dallas with her husband Tommy and daughter Magnolia.
