AA Workers Protest with Valentine Theme

DALLAS - American Airlines employees got some support Tuesday as they protested against job and benefit cuts. They were joined on the picket lines by flight attendants from Southwest Airlines.

In addition to members of the Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA), members of the transportation workers and mechanics unions also marched at airports across the country.

It was a Valentine’s Day-themed protest showing “no love” for the bankrupt airline.

"American's employees are the heart of this airline and have sacrificed billions in the past years to support their company. Our message is clear: We have worked hard, have played by the rules, and we all deserve better than this," said APFA President Laura Glading....
