Monitoring the weather

SMU works very hard to support the process of teaching and learning with as little interruption as possible. We have indicated that students who did not feel they could travel due to weather conditions should contact their professors in advance, and employees should contact their supervisors to discuss other options. The majority of students did come to class today. We continue to monitor weather and road conditions and this afternoon will make a decision about evening classes. We appreciate the cooperation of the University community during these highly unusual weather days for Dallas.
