Lost Lives, Lost Stories
Each year, Rick Halperin of SMU's Human Rights Education Program leads student trips to Nazi death camps.
In December 2008, a group of nine from SMU toured World War II death camps in Poland, including Auschwitz, Treblinka and the Warsaw Ghetto. Rick Halperin, director of the SMU Human Rights Education Program, has led SMU trips to Poland every year since 1996.
