With a variety of traditional majors and a plethora of new and emerging interdisciplinary fields, we're constantly expanding our degree programs to meet competitive demand in the global economy and your personal inquisitiveness about the world and humanity.
You’ll begin your journey as an SMU pre-major, where you will work with an academic advisor to begin your university curriculum and introductory courses for your major. Later, you’ll focus and immerse yourself in one or more of SMU’s academic schools as you declare your major – or majors. The University Curriculum provides the flexibility you want to combine majors and minors, creating an academic experience as unique to your goals.
